The One-Sentence Offer Builder

Fill in one sentence a stranger can repeat back to you, then delete every buzzword that survived.

You will end this with one sentence you can say out loud at a dinner party, and a stranger will be able to repeat it back accurately enough to refer you. Getting there takes about two hours of writing and five short conversations. It costs nothing except the discomfort of deleting words you are attached to.

1. Write the skeleton before you write the sentence

Open a blank document. Type this, literally, with the brackets:

I help [specific customer] [fix specific expensive problem] by [concrete deliverable], in [timeframe], starting at [price]. [One reason to believe.]

Every slot is a decision. You are going to fill them one at a time, worst to best, and you are not allowed to skip a slot because it's hard. The hard ones are exactly where the confusion lives.
